BIDDING REGISTRATION
Prospective buyers MUST register with full details, including means of identification, prior to the sale.
VALUE ADDED TAX AND BUYERS PREMIUM
The seller is registered for VAT and the items sold will therefore be subject to VAT. Purchasers Commission will amount to five per cent (5%) over and above the purchase price plus VAT.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Purchases will only be released when full payment (inclusive of commission and VAT) has been made to Hix & Son. We will accept payment by the following means:-
- Cash up to One Thousand Pounds (£1,000) in sterling.
2. Debit or Credit Card for all transactions. (Subject to network reception).
- Personal/Business cheques (UK Bank/Building Society) – cheques must clear prior to removal of items.
SECURITY OF LOTS PURCHASED
Responsibility for security of all Lots is in the hands of the successful bidder following the fall of the hammer.
